Skip: Becoming Ready to Receive Goodness

Written by:

Work hard! Grind it out! Push yourself! We hear these phrases from a lot of successful people “You just gotta work harder!”. But what happens when you do work really hard? Every minute of every day you are doing SOME THING. But yet, what is there to show for the work? And what does the work really matter if you’re not happy? If the work isn’t really coming from your soul, but it’s just a mere production from your body and the action it’s taking? I can say from experience, it doesn’t matter that much.

Skip also knows this from experience. He is a big fan of Abraham Hicks and the idea of connecting with your inner self, the love, and the creativity before ever doing any type of work. If you think you need to get stuff done just to mark it off your checklist or because of a promise you made to go on a date with your significant other, but you’re grumpy or foggy headed or just not in the right headspace, you should not do those things. More than likely they will turn out worse than if you had just taken a minute for yourself to recalibrate. Can anyone relate?

I’m so excited for you to hear our full conversation on this week’s episode of Level Up! With Shay. I have heard a lot of what Skip says before, but it really sank in during our discussion. And maybe it will from you too! It’s not new information, it may just be the channel in which it’s delivered. Are you ready for it?
