Have you ever doubted yourself? Silly question, right? Of course we all have doubted ourselves at some point in our lives. Self-doubt is inevitable. How do we diminish this as we get older? Or how do we stop it from growing and becoming a shadow lurking behind us everywhere we go?
From my talk with DJ Kara, her answer is to TRY. She went to Purdue University for Business, one of the hardest programs there and she wasn’t shy to admit that she wasn’t the smartest person in the room. After almost having to drop out or switch majors by not meeting the business program requirements, she took her own advice and TRIED. And even being so shy, but really wanting to get into the DJ bar scene, she went straight to a bar manager in West Hollywood, and she TRIED. Again.
